Click on images below to view interactive panoramas
The following panoramas were taken on a walking tour of "The Strip" on Las Vegas Boulevard rom Harrah's Hotel to the Stratosphere Hotel. The first two are on the bridge from the boulevard to the entrance to the Venetian Hotel and crosses an imitation of the canals in Venice, Italy. The hotel also has an indoor version that meaners through the shopping mall. The next four panoramas were taken on the outdoor observation deck of the Stratosphere Hotel. It is the second highest structure in the U.S. West of the Mississippi. Also on this level are three amusement rides: a tower ride the vaults up the tower on top of the building; a swing that rotates over the side of the building with view straight down 900 feet; and a teeter-totter with a car that rides the black beam shown below and the drops down over the side of the building. All are breathtaking.

Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon
While in Las Vegas I took two tours to the nearby areas. Hoover Dam is about 45 minutes drive to the East and is a spectacular structure including Lake Meade and a new bridge (visible in the panoramas) that is under construction to space the gorge. Red Rock Canyon is National Conservation Area located approximately 45 minutets to the West. It is a beautiful area with many hiking trails providing views of interesting animals, plants and landscapes.
