The International VR Photography Association (IVRPA) held a conference in Berkeley, CA from June 19 through June 23. Multiple presentations were made daily on all aspects of panoramic photography. Sessions were held in several locations on the University of California Berkeley campus. The campus is beautiful and the climate was exceptional.

I stayed in the Hotel Durant, shown below, which was one block from the main campus. Walking across campus to attend sessions I usually passed the Memorial Glade. Many of the sessions were held in Barrow's Hall on the top floor which was surrounded by a terrace that overlooked the campus. Some of the sessions well held in North Gate Hall which is nearly unchanged since the first decade of the 1900's when it was built. On Sunday, June 17 the conference banquet was at the Hillside Restaurant. The food was delicious and the keynote speaker was one of the most influential figures in panoramic photography, Helmut Dersch.
